In-house marketing for luxury restaurants and vibrant nightlife venues
At Ismaya Group, I lead marketing for luxury F&B and nightlife concepts in Jakarta, shaping how a brand is positioned, experienced, and sustained within a competitive landscape.
My work spans the full lifecycle of a campaign, from concept through execution, across digital, social media, PR, partnerships, and on-the-ground activations. I develop seasonal narratives and event-led moments that translate menus and spaces into something more atmospheric: places designed to be experienced, shared, and returned to.
Working across teams, vendors, and stakeholders, I maintain a consistent point of view across every touchpoint, balancing creative direction with operational pace to champion marketing efforts.
Hospitality operations for a leading nightlife venue, pre-opening
I was part of the pre-opening team behind Cosmo Pony, a convivial cocktail bar built in collaboration with Jigger & Pony Group and Union Group in Jakarta, following earlier experience in Singapore, working across operations and guest experience.
I led a team of over 15 on the floor, setting the pace and standards of a high-volume venue serving hundreds of guests each night. The work required a close understanding of rhythm: how service moves, where pressure builds, and how detail holds under scale.
Beyond operations, I shaped private events and maintained sincere guest engagement, creating experiences that extended the brand beyond the bar itself. In 2025, the bar was recognized on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 list, situating the team within a broader dialogue around craft and contemporary hospitality in the region.
Public relations for acclaimed chefs and the contemporary hospitality industry
In New York City, I worked in hospitality PR as a publicist at Baltz & Company, supporting luxury restaurants, acclaimed chefs, and food-driven brands to shape narratives and build visibility through press across news outlets, including The New York Times, Eater, and Good Morning America.
I supported restaurant openings, campaign launches, and editorial moments, ensuring each brand’s soul was positioned with clarity within a dynamic media landscape. It was work grounded in placement and perception: not just where a story lands, but how it resonates.
Social strategy, paid media, and OOH campaigns for labor and advocacy organizations
Earlier in my career and during the global pandemic, I worked in an agency called 617MediaGroup to develop campaigns across social, paid media, and out-of-home ads. My work spanned sectors, from labor unions and healthcare to social advocacy, requiring a different kind of rigor: translating complex, high-stakes ideas into messaging that could travel clearly across audiences and online platforms. It was work grounded in advocacy and intent.
Although my focus was to develop and manage multiple clients’ social media strategies for organic and paid social media accounts, I also contributed to user-facing digital experiences, with attention to structure, accessibility, and flow following UI/UX principles.
